— TO MY FRIENDS —
To all of those who are supporting the running
of our activities and events behind the scenes
in the midst of this cold weather,
thank you all so very much!
Please be careful not to catch a cold.
It is absolutely certain that the Buddhist gods (shoten zenjin)
are praising your noble dedication.

— DAILY GOSHO —
“Believe in this mandala with all your heart. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion. What sickness can therefore be an obstacle?”

(Reply to Kyō’ō – The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, page 412)

—- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT —-
“Nichiren Daishonin said to one of his followers striving hard in his community: ‘I entrust you with the propagation of Buddhism in your province. It is stated that “the seeds of Buddhahood sprout as a result of conditions, and for this reason they [the Buddhas] preach the single vehicle [the Mystic Law]” [cf. LSOC2, 75]’ (WND-1, 1117).

“Once again this year, while sowing the seeds of ultimate happiness in our communities—that is, helping people form a connection to Nichiren Buddhism—let’s wisely, harmoniously, and joyfully build and expand a trailblazing model of beautiful human harmony that will lead the way for the rest of the world. I will also continue my efforts in that direction.”
